Carolina Bermejillo joined Asensi in January 2025. With a solid professional background, she has held various roles in the horse racing industry in Spain and so has been linked to the gambling sector since 2010, having taken part in different conferences and summits. She also has extensive academic experience, teaching Economics and Law, both in Spanish and English, at various prestigious private universities and is the author of several research papers. Carolina is the Academic Director of the Bachelor Degree on International Business at UNIE.
Carolina holds a PhD in Law from the CEU San Pablo University since 2015, with a Doctoral Thesis on the regulation of horse betting in Europe, having obtained the highest qualification, unanimous Cum Laude. She holds a Master’s Degree in Legal Practice by the UNED, in addition to a Master’s Degree in Multimedia Communication, Online Marketing and Internet Advertising. She is a graduate in Law and Legal Sciences of Public Administration from the UNED, having obtained the Award for the Best Academic Record of the promotion 2019/2022. In addition, she has a degree in Business Administration and Management, specializing in Auditing, from the University CEU San Pablo, also achieving the Angel Herrera Award for the Best Academic Record of the promotion 2007/2012.
