Gonzalo Cantero is a lawyer specializing in blockchain, digital assets, and financial regulation. With a strong academic background and hands-on experience, he advises companies on regulatory compliance, licensing, legal structuring, and risk management within the fintech ecosystem.
He holds a Law degree with honors (cum laude) from the University of the Balearic Islands and a Master of Laws from the Bar Association of the Balearic Islands. His Bachelor’s thesis focused on the MiCA Regulation, a topic in which he has developed particular expertise, supporting clients in authorization processes before regulators such as the CNMV (Spain), the Central Bank of Brazil, and the DGOJ.
