Juan Cardona is a double qualified lawyer, admitted to practice in Spain and New York. He currently heads the Litigation Department at Asensi Abogados, where he advises clients on complex pre-litigation and litigation matters. His practice focuses on Civil and Commercial Contracts Law, Consumer Law, Business and Corporate Law, and Unfair Competition Law.
Before joining Asensi Abogados in 2019, Juan developed his career at Garrigues, one of Spain’s foremost international law firms, where he advised a broad range of national and multinational companies, particularly within the tourism industry. He also gained international experience as a Judicial Fellow at the Civil Branch of the New York State Supreme Court.
Juan holds a Law Degree and a Master’s in Advocacy from the University of the Balearic Islands (Majorca, Spain), as well as an LL.M. in International Business Regulation, Litigation and Arbitration from New York University School of Law (NY, USA).
Juan speaks Spanish, Catalan, English, Italian and mid-level in French.
