Sara Lao Torroella is a lawyer specialized in Data Protection and Commercial Law.
Before joining Asensi Abogados, she worked at a leading law firm in the Balearic Islands, where she gained experience in corporate transactions, contracts, asset acquisitions, banking law, and regulatory compliance in data protection.
Sara holds a double degree in Law and Business Administration from the Universidad Internacional de Cataluña (UIC) and a Master’s Degree in Law Practice from the Universidad Pompeu Fabra (UPF). Additionally, she specialized in Corporate and M&A at ISDE Madrid and completed a Master’s in General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) at UNED, earning professional certifications in privacy and data protection, such as DPO Junior (APEP) and CDPP (ISMS Fórum).
Sara speaks Spanish, English and Catalan.
