One of the highlights of Bet on Ceuta, held on 17 and 18 June, was the panel discussion entitled “The Current Legal Landscape of Online Gambling in Spain: A Comprehensive Analysis of the Regulatory Ecosystem in 2026”.
The session explored the latest regulatory developments, the current licensing landscape and the key legal challenges facing operators in the Spanish online gambling market, providing an up-to-date overview of the regulatory ecosystem and its ongoing evolution.
Representing Asensi Abogados were Marina Villalonga, Víctor del Águila Jiménez and Sofía García-C. Berenguer, while Santiago Asensi moderated the discussion. The panel also featured Jorge Hinojosa, Director General of Jdigital.
